The weather in mid November is chilly, and there were chances of snowing. However, this did not stop us from dancing and parading without our winter jackets!

A little trick to stay warm is by layering underneath. Yet, imagine standing in the wind without wearing clothes; that is the feeling we had while waiting for the parade to start. We stayed close together in clumps - the same mechanisms penguins employ to keep themselves warm; while singing Christmas carols and practicing our cheers as the marching bands were rehearsing for one last time.

On Sunday November 18th 2018, Toronto hosted its 114th annual Santa Claus Parade. This was the UTSC Cheer team’s 3rd time taking part and marching in the parade! It was a pleasure for us to take part in the parade and help spread joy and Christmas spirit, even if it was a month before Christmas!
