Toronto's 32nd Annual St.Patrick's Day Parade

On Sunday March 10th 2019, Toronto hosted its 32nd annual St.Patrick's Day Parade. This was the UTSC Cheerleading Team's very first time walking in the parade and we had a blast!
This year we were fortunate to be approached by a member of the organization for the St. Patricks day parade and when asked to walk in the parade this year, we jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this special event!
It was a cold, rainy and windy day but the parade still went on! Taking place at the end of Winter it was no surprise that it was a cold day for a parade! All of the cheerleaders were bundled up and huddling to keep warm! There was still a pretty good turnout of Torontonians who showed up to watch the parade from the sidelines. Downtown Toronto was enriched in a sea of green! We were excited to participate in this vibrant and colourful celebration of Irish culture, heritage and community spirit. Everyone had a good time and we even got to see a few leprechauns!
