After months of practicing and learning new choreography, we finally had our first performance of the season during the men's intramural basketball game taking place at The Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. The game took place on November 28th 2018 where UTSC faced UTM in a close game. UTSC took the victory winning 85 -72.
Halftime performances typically take a lot of planning and months of practicing. With the addition of new members to our team for the season, our performance team was bigger than ever! During these past few months, we learned new techniques and cheer choreography from our new cheer coach Sheldon from Beach Cheer Athletics. The process was long but in the end the whole team pulled through to give our first performance of the season.
You can check out our performance on our YouTube channel, @UTSCCheerleading! We hope you enjoy! (P.S: Please like and subscribe! More performances to come)

New bloods' first game!
We have a team size of 50, with almost half of them are talented new bloods. Side line cheering for a sport without any prior knowledge can be very challenging especially offense and defense can be switched in a split second.
Also, getting the spirit of a cheerleader is not a quick thing; however, we are very proud of the new members in their first game, they did a very good job! Keep it up!
^ The uniforms have still under production thus
the new girls are in all-black outfit for now.
